In 2002, Rodrigo was recognized by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) as part of the New Business Generation of Leaders in Latin America. He was a board member of the Export Promotion Board of Nicaragua and Central America and has been a technical consultant and board member of the Greenhouse Association of the Americas. Rodrigo earned his BS in Plant Sciences at the University of Arizona.
